Hey everyone,
Lots of clients ask me about peptide storage conditions. Improper storage will degrade peptides fast, kill potency and waste your money. As a peptide manufacturer, I’ll share real‑world storage tips based on our factory experience.
✅ Unopened lyophilized peptide powder
Original sealed vials, best stored at ‑20°C freezer. Under this condition, most lyophilized peptides can keep good potency for 2‑3 years away from light and moisture.
If you don’t have freezer conditions, short‑term storage (within 1‑2 months) can be done in refrigerator 2‑8°C, but avoid high temperature and direct sunlight. Room‑temperature long‑term storage is strongly not recommended.
✅ After reconstitution (mixed with bacteriostatic water)
Once you add solvent to dissolve the powder, the nature changes.
Sealed reconstituted peptides should be kept at 2‑8°C fridge, use up within 2‑4 weeks. Do NOT freeze reconstituted liquid peptides, freezing will destroy peptide structure and cause degradation.
❌ Common mistakes many people make
Leaving vials in hot environment, direct sun exposure. Heat breaks down peptide molecules.
Freezing liquid reconstituted peptides.
Repeatedly thawing & freezing lyophilized powder. Each thaw‑freeze cycle reduces activity. Try to avoid frequent temperature changes.
Exposing to moisture, keep vials tightly sealed.
